My friend whose parents were from China and settled up in Australia, opened a restaurant specializing in Chinese cuisine in Melbourne, it lasted since she was born. She decided it was time to give it a new appearance for their own business.

I gave a combination of hand drawing and symbolizing the chef's image into a logo. It was shaped in an ink drop in Chinese calligraphy. In addition, I leverage the pattern of windows in traditional Chinese houses into the branding, which brings more Asian charm and distinctiveness to the brand.
